2. What we collect, and why
| Source | Data | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Audit form | Name, email, website and the description of your business | To prepare your free audit, send it to you, and contact you to discuss it |
| Call booking (Cal.com) | Name, email and whatever you enter when booking | To manage the appointment and contact you |
| Whatever you include in your message | To answer you | |
| Google Ads cookies (only if you accept) | Cookie identifiers, the page you came from, the ad click, your IP address and — where you gave it to us — your email in hashed, unreadable form | To measure whether our ads lead to audit requests and booked calls |
We do not use your data to send you recurring marketing, and we do not make automated decisions with it.
3. Legal basis
Advertising cookies are used only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive), which you can withdraw at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer. We process the rest of your data on the basis of your consent when you submit the form or book a call (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as we work together or, if we never do, for a maximum of 12 months from the last contact. After that it is deleted, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it longer.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or hand your data to third parties. To run the service we use providers that act as processors on our behalf:
- Netlify, Inc. — website hosting and form delivery.
- Cal.com — call bookings.
- Google — web fonts, Google Ads conversion measurement where you consent, and, where applicable, email.
Block Studio LLC is established in the United States, so your data is processed outside the European Economic Area, as it is by some of these providers. Where that happens, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, or for it to be corrected, deleted or ported, and you can object to or restrict our processing of it, by writing to joaquin@blockstudio.co and saying which right you want to exercise. If you believe we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The site always runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
